5 GREAT Reasons to love our Lluie Teethers

Posted by Charmaine Chee on

Let's get right into it!

1. Handmade by a mama right here in Australia

I personally hand make all our teething toys (and dummy chains). Sometimes hubby helps when it gets incredibly busy. So safe to say, our teethers are ethically made (by us), not by factory of unknown origins who churns out teethers by the masses.

2. One-of-a-kind Designs

I take months to perfect our designs. Our designs need to fit the criteria of functionality, aesthetics and originality. We are home to the original Ring Pop Rattle and I've put in so much thought into our colour combinations so you don't have to spend endless time deciding on the custom colour combination you'd like. Here at Lluie, I'm all about saving you time mama. Time is what we lack since entering motherhood and I don't want you cracking your head over what colour goes well with what and trying to visualise it. I've done it all for you.

3. Safety Tested & Certified

There is NOTHING more important than the safety of your baby. And I take that very seriously. As such, all our different designs have been sent to an accredited independent testing laboratory for testing and certification to the Australian Safety Standards AS/NZS ISO 8124. Costly process to a small business like mine but incredibly necessary to be 100% sure.

You can give our teethers to your baby with a peace of mind, never worrying that our teethers will ever break apart.

4. Stringent Manufacturing Process

I make our teethers in batches in our studio. I always start with wiping down the work surface. After making each batch of teethers, I inspect them one by one. Quality control is key in both safety and aesthetic appeal of the compression of the beads. No loosely strung teething rings here! Once QC is done, every single one of the finished teethers is wiped just before packaging them into our reusable cotton bags.

5. Eco-Friendly Gift Worthy Packaging

I honestly hate waste. If I can find a dual purpose for something I definitely would. As such, we choose to package our teethers into reusable cotton bags to keep clean after they've been wiped clean from the manufacturing stage. The dual purpose? They are gift ready. Remember I'm all about saving you time mama... so you can gift it on without worrying about heading out to get wrapping paper. I've even made the tag it comes with dual purpose as a gift tag whilst containing care and safety instructions. I've got your back mama.
